Snow & Ice Removal

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE

          This is a reminder for all Village residents, property owners, and their hired/contracted property maintenance contractors or companies. Please make sure that all sections of sidewalks that may border your property must be free all snow and ice and should be removed within 24 hours after the end of a snowfall/inclement winter weather. For any properties with fire hydrants, be sure to maintain the 4ft x 4ft area around fire hydrants. For further code information please refer to Chapter 98-5 of the Village of Rhinebeck code.   Keep in mind that the Village snow ordinance is in effect; overnight street parking is not permitted between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
OFFENDERS WILL BE ISSUED A TICKET AND ARE SUBJECT TO BE TOWED.

The Village Highway Department is working hard to clear the roads. We ask that you
not park on all Village streets from Sunday 1/25/26 from 6:00 am through Monday 1/26/26 at noon.
