Request: Area Variance – Side Yard Area Variance – Requested side yard area variance for a new proposed attached carport/port-cochere, attached to existing single-family dwelling. The new carport/porte-cochere impacts the side yard setback on the south side by 9 ft. encroaching on the required 10 ft. setback. To be compliant under zoning the sought relief is 1 foot. Additionally, included with this area variance request includes a set of new exterior stairs for a landing which will encroach 6 foot, 4 inches, needing a relief of 3 feet, 6 inches, to be compliant under zoning.   

Property located in the Historic Overlay District and Residential District.
