Micro-transit Update

I wanted to update everyone on the status of the proposal, presented this time last year, to create a micro-transit system for Rhinebeck. It would serve residents in the Village, providing free transportation to the hospital, doctors, shopping district, markets and restaurants. In the past year we have conducted extensive research and met with many stakeholders in the Village to explore the feasibility of this idea. The plan is viable, the enthusiasm is there, but so far, we have not been able to secure the funding. We have gathered a lot of information and input, and are moving forward in seeking alternative approaches.
I want to thank everyone who gave the idea support over the past year. We would love to get input from more people. And, we will continue to update you as we move forward.
